Journaling: An easy way to gain clarity on what lights you up

Journaling is a waste of time.

Or so I thought.

Over the last four years of writing in a gratitude journal, & now writing for 5-10 minutes every morning, I have found refuge, clarity, & happiness in writing down my thoughts & feelings.

As traveling yoginis, we’re hungry for exploration & knowledge… Both externally & internally.

Journaling Instructions:

After you read the question, set a timer for 10 minutes on your phone. Place your pen on your paper and write. Don’t stop writing, even if you just write “This is dumb” over & over. Whatever you have to share is perfect. Write every thought that comes to your mind, leave out censorship. This is where the gold lies.

Day 3: Think about something that you want to do, but fear has been holding you back… Now describe all the scenarios where if you did that thing, what are the best possible outcomes?

Day 4: I feel proud of myself when…

Day 5: Think about your life… Now write down all the decisions that have had a huge positive impact on how your life today.

Day 6: The people in my life who inspire me are…
